This afghan is one of our most popular patterns.   It includes instructions to crochet a 35½" x 35½" baby afghan made from sport weight yarn, plus a 46" x 46" child-size afghan made from worsted weight yarn.

Create this one-of-a-kind afghan using just single and double crochet sts.  The design is formed by a dc in front loop of st 2 rows below.  Sc are worked in back lp of st.  Each row is worked on one side; you do not turn your work.  They are the same stitches that are used in overlay mosaic crochet except done in only one color rather than two.

Instructions include a written pattern, plus there is an optional graph if you prefer to work from that.
