I'd like to show you a booklet that includes three of our classic afghan designs.  They are easy to do and each creates an optical illusion.

Rainbow of Tier Drops Afghan, Baby Afghan and Pillow.  Design forms an optical illusion; it's very easy to do in just sc and dropped dc st.  Make it in rainbow colors as shown on large afghan, in earth tones as shown on pillow, or in pastel baby shades as shown on baby afghan.  Great for leftover scraps of yarn.  It takes about 15 yds. of yarn for each large afghan row.  Sizes include 64 1/2" x 41" afghan, 32" x 38" baby afghan and 14" square pillow.  Instructions are also included for changing the size of your afghan.

Kaleidoscope Afghan, Baby Afghan and Pillow.  Worked in sc and dropped dc st.  Diamond within a diamond is very easy to do.  Make it in a solid color for a totally different look.  47" x 62" afghan,  34" x 42" baby afghan, 14" square pillow.

Falling Leaves Afghan, Baby Afghan and Pillow.  Create an illusion of falling autumn leaves from single and double crochet.  Pattern makes 42" x 62" afghan, 32" x 36" baby afghan and 16" square pillow.
