It's worked in our popular sc in back lp, dc in front lp 2 rows below technique.  Check out our website for a how-to video showing just how easy this technique is.

Instructions are given for a 32 1/2" x 38 1/2" baby size made from baby yarn and a 40 3/4" x 48" child size afghan made from worsted weight yarn.  For a 36" x 42 3/4" larger baby size made from baby yarn, simply use one hook size larger with a stitch gauge of 4.5 sts and 4.5 rows = 1 inch.
